4 HALF YEAR MAINTENANCE
Add the following maintenance items in the basis of monthly maintenance items.
1) Synchronous belt inspection and maintenance;
First, check all the belts’ status of wear and aging. There should not be surface cracking, and
broken teeth etc;
;
Secondly, adjust the belts’ position of the arm X of the reagent arm (back and forth).
Adjustment method: Firstly move the reagent needle to the reset point. Then loosen the reagent
arm to control the tensioner in the direction of movement. Separate the belt from the stepper motor
pulley and idler pulley. Manually move the needle 50 mm forward (in the direction of the front cover)
which means 50mm away from the original position. Adjust the belt tension and fix the tensioning wheel.
2) Reagent Area Checking
Check reagent cooling efficiency. Make sure the instrument is back to room temperature before
turning it on. Power on and connect the computer and turn on the software. Check the temperature
display of the reagent bits in the "System" message. Temperature should reach the standard one in 30
minutes (good environment for about 15 minutes). If the cooling rate is slow or the temperature is not up
to standard one in 30 minutes, you should clean the reagent inlet air filter.
Remove the front cover of the instrument. Use a thumbscrew to secure the filter on the right side of
the middle reagent position and the filter on the left side of the reagent position. Remove the filter and
clean the surface dust. Install the clean filter back to its original position. Check reagent cooling effi-
ciency. If it still does not meet the standard, clean the reagent area deeply.
Empty the line liquid. Shut down the instrument. Disassemble the work panel. Unplug the hose and
circuit cables to the reagent location. Remove the entire reagent area. Clean the fan and heat sink dust.
After the cleansing is completed, place the reagent area back into the original place, and then fas-
ten the work panel (no need to tighten it temporarily). Adjust the reagent area to make sure they are
aligned with the panel. Install reagent area holder. Install reagent bit holder. Check reagent cooling
efficiency. If the instrument is normal then restore the instrument, otherwise consider replacing the re-
agent area.
5 SPARE PARTS RECHARGE
1) Fuse replacement
Power outlet fuse
The left power outlet on the instrument is equipped with two fuses with the same specification of F5
× 20mm 3.15A. When the instrument is overloaded and the fuse blown, you need to replace it.
Power must be switched off when changing fuses. Unplug the power cord, pull out the fuse box
from the power cord socket, and then replace the fuse.
Circuit board fuses
Use a tool to open the "fuse box window" on the left side of the instrument and turn on the instru-
ment. Next to a blown fuse indicator light will be red. Turn off the power after confirming the position.
