Built-in CD changer opera-

Be sure to insert discs with the label
side up. If you insert a disc with the la-
bel side down, the display will show
“ERROR04”.

The CD changer is designed to han-
dle only 12 cm/5 inch CDs. Do not at-
tempt to use an 8 cm/3 inch CD. Doing
so could cause damage.

The CD changer is designed to be
able to play music CD-Rs and CD-RWs.
However, unsuitable recording proper-
ties, unsuitable disc properties,
scratches, dirt, and other factors may
render it unable to play certain discs of
these types.
Also, the CD changer cannot play any
CD-R or CD-RW that has not been final-
ized (processed for playability in a nor-
mal CD player).

The CD changer cannot play CD-
ROMs and MP3 CDs.

How to insert a CD

Inserting a CD

1. Briefly press the “LOAD” button. On the
display, the disc number assigned to the
disc you are going to insert and the
“LOAD” indicator will blink.
2. As soon as the “LOAD” indicator be-
gins to blink, insert the disc. The disc will
be automatically drawn in, and the player
will begin to play back the first track on the
disc.

To insert multiple CDs one after an-
other

1. Press the “LOAD” button for 1 second
or longer. You will hear a bleep.
2. The display will show “ALL LOAD”.
3. Insert the CDs one at a time.
4. Playback will begin with the CD that
was inserted first.
If you do not insert any disc in 15 seconds
after the appearance of the “LOAD” or
“ALL LOAD” indication, the player will be-
gin to play the first track on the last disk
you inserted.

The disc indicator steadily lights up if a
disc is already inserted in the correspond-
ing position in the magazine.

If you press any of the other mode but-
tons (“BAND” and “TAPE”) while the play-
