STULZ UltraSonic -System for duct humidification ENS 14 A - 18 A-
Operation
9.2.
Booster fan (optional)
9.2.1. Description of booster fan
UltraSonic air humidifiers are frequently installed in air ducts and air handling units. If infinitely adjustable
fans are used in air handling units, the air speed may fall below 1.5 m/s, which is the minimum permitted
for the UltraSonic air humidifier. Then, the mist generated can no longer be expelled from the unit.
The booster fan must be used in these cases. This fan generates the necessary airflow to carry the mist.
The booster fan expels mist out of the humidifier whenever the latter is operating with a minimal airflow.
This ensures that function can continue, even if the air speed falls below the minimum level of 1.5 m/s.
The booster fan is fitted to the back of the ENS 14-18 humidifier with the supplied brackets.
