  The most important AutoTouchPlus commands have been assigned to the six 

CUSTOM PANEL

 keys shown below.

Mix Passes

 

  Normally a new mix pass is automatically being created when play speed of 

incoming timecode is detected. A mix pass finishes upon detection of non-

play speed.

 

  In order to record slower than play speed (slow motion) or even write auto-

mation data between two locate points, it is necessary to start and stop a mix 

pass manually. 

 

  A mix pass is manually started by switching Stop Frame automation on by 

using the

 Stop Frame 

button. It is finished when this button is switched to 

off again. 

 

Note: 

The automation cannot record backwards; it records data up to any incre-

mented timecode value. Therefore it is not possible to erase data by going 

backwards using the transport buttons on the 

Machine Control

 window.
