16. PIP Generator Functionality
The PIP Generator is intended to be used with the SwitchPoint Infinity® 2 Control System, but can be used as a
stand alone PIP in the OR. A description of the controls provided follows.
WARNING
Always use the PIP Generator with the supplied isolation transformer. Failure to do so could
result in increased leakage current.
The On and Off buttons at the top of the PIP screen are used to turn the PIP option on or off.
16.1 Select PIP Position
The four buttons located in the “Inset Position” box allow you to select which corner of the screen you want the
PIP Inset displayed.
16.2 PIP Small / PIP Large
The two buttons located in the “Inset Size” box allow you to choose between displaying the PIP as a large or small
image. The large inset will fill up approximately 1/4 of the screen, and the small inset will fill up approximately
1/9 of the screen.
16.3 Swap Image
The Swap Image button swaps the main and inset images.
16.4 Select PIP Main Image
The “Select PIP Main Image” pull down allows you to select what image to display in the main PIP window.
16.5 Select PIP Inset Image
The “Select PIP Inset Image” pull down allows you to select what image to display in the PIP inset window.
16.6 Display PIP Image On
The “Display PIP Image On” pull down allows you to select where to route the PIP image.
