Device Purpose

EN

CAUTION!
Battery
The battery pack must be checked or replaced only by an authorized service or
hospital technician. If used incorrectly, the battery pack may overheat, explode,
and cause injuries. Make sure the battery pack is stored according to the follow-
ing safety instructions:
• Do not attempt to penetrate the battery pack with pointed objects, avoid

heavy impact on the battery pack with other objects, do not kick or step on the
battery pack.

• Avoid exposing the rechargeable battery pack to water or saltwater and keep

away from moisture in general.

• Do not disassemble or modify the battery pack. The battery pack contains

safety and protection elements. Damaging these elements may cause the bat-
tery pack to overheat, ignite, or explode.

• Do not place the battery pack in or near an open flame and do not heat up the

battery pack. Do not place the battery pack near a heater or in areas with high
temperatures. Do not expose the battery pack to direct sunlight. Failure to do
so may cause the battery pack to overheat, ignite, or explode. This may also
diminish the capacity of the battery pack and shorten its service life.

• Immediately disconnect the battery pack if you should notice an unusual odor

or any other abnormalities during use.

• In case the battery pack "leaks" and battery fluid reaches the eyes of the user,

try not to rub eyes. Flush eyes with water immediately and consult a physician
at once. The battery pack fluid may damage eyes if left untreated.

• If no longer rechargeable, the battery pack must be replaced by an authorized

service or hospital technician.
