Bei  Drücken  der  Taste  „Braden  Scale“  (Braden-
Skala) auf der Bildschirmseite 

i

Bed wird Abbildung 

10.22a angezeigt.

Bei  der  Braden-Skala  handelt  es  sich  um  die 
Abklärung  und  Beantwortung  von  6  Fragen, 
anhand der das Pflegepersonal das Risiko auf die 
Entwicklung von Druckgeschwüren beim Patienten 
abschätzen kann. 

Bei Drücken der Taste 

 für einen der Punkte 

1  bis  4  werden  weitere  Informationen  zu  diesem 
Punkt angezeigt. Als Beispiel ist in Abbildung 10.22b 
der Punkt 2 (“Very Limited” [Sehr eingeschränkt]) 
dargestellt.

Aus  der  Untersuchung  wird  ein  Zahlenwert 
(Punktwert)  ermittelt,  anhand  dessen  die 
erforderliche  Pflege  für  die  Haut  des  Patienten 
ermittelt wird (siehe Abbildung 10.22c). Je niedriger 
der  Punktwert,  desto  mehr  Aufmerksamkeit  muss 
das  Pflegepersonal  der  Hautpflege  des  Patienten 
widmen.

Nach Abschluss der Überprüfung mit der Braden-
Skala  wird  der  letzte  Braden-Punktwert  mit 
Untersuchungsdatum auf der Hauptbildschirmseite 
angezeigt. Die Anzeige dieses Punktwerts auf der 
Hauptbildschirmseite kann aktiviert oder unterdrückt 
werden.
