Additional, user defined consumables can be added. When this
option is selected, pressing ENTER

will bring up a new screen:
Now you can add new preparation surfaces, suspensions and
lubricants.
If a new preparation surface is added, the SURFACE STRUCTURE
has to be defined. Select one of the user surfaces in USER
SURFACES STRUCTURE and press ENTER

.There are two
possibilities to chose between:
If the new preparation surface already contains abrasive, select the
first option. If abrasive has to be added, chose the second.
Depending on the selection, different options will be available when
editing the method parameters.
If ABRASIVE was selected, abrasive dosing will be set to OFF and
with the lubricant dosing only water can be used and set to ON or
OFF.
If NON-ABRASIVE was selected, the suspension to be used can be
selected under Grit/Grain, a lubricant can be chosen under Lubricant,
and the level for both Abrasive and Lubricant dosing can be
adjusted.
The contrast settings of the display can be adjusted for maximum
readability.
The language can be set to either English, German, French or
Japanese.
The factory setting of some parameters can be restored by pressing
the function key F1 when the appropriate value is highlighted.
