Note: Your ROPS20 - Roll-Over Protective Structure Kit will be factory as-
sembled if purchased with a RS1000. Kit instructions are for those that are
adding it at a later date. Install AM39 - Angle Mounts before proceeding.
STEP 1.
Remove any rear attachments like
backhoe, rear hitch or hydraulic tank to gain ac-
cess to the back of the tractor. Remove seat
and seat pan. See pg. 23 in the RS1000 man-
ual. Tie back any hoses that may interfere with
the area.
STEP 2.
Insert (6) #AY Bolts through the rear
panel of the tractor. Wrap rubber bands around
them as shown in picture.
STEP 3.
Install #4179 Back Channel as
shown, making sure to keep the bolt heads
sticking out of the holes in the #4179 Back
Channel. Lossely turn on (2) #JJ Nuts onto the
top 2 bolts to hold up the #4179 Back Channel.
