STEP 26. Connect #1922-2 lower hose on tractor
to #2585 hose by pulling back gently on the #2573
Female fitting and inserting the #2474 Male fitting.
Repeat this process for the #1923-2 top hose and
the #2584 hose.
STEP 27. Connect the #1452 and #1453 rubber
hose covers to each other.
STEP 28. Once happy with the hose paths as
shown above. Tighten #2585 and #2584 hose to
their #54 fittings as shown above.
STEP 29. Use the #793 hose ties and #MAT-
000032 Spriral Wrap to finish the install. Use a scis-
sors or other cutting tool to chop off the remainng
ends of the #793 hose ties. (Do not Puncture a
Hose in this process).
STEP 30. Test to make sure your hose connec-
tions are tight. Add Hydraulic oil to the oil tank if
needed. Level should be approx. 5” from the top of
the tank. Re-assemble your seat, rear cover and
valve cover at this time.
STEP 21. Loop the open end of the #1453 Male
Plug around the pipe thread end of the #2584 hose.
Loop the open end of the #1453 Male Cap around
the pipe thread end of the #2585 hose.
STEP 22. Install a #2573 Female Fitting onto the
pipe thread end of the #2584 hose. Install a #2573
Female fitting onto the pipe thread end of the #2585
hose... tighten.
STEP 23. Loop the open end of the #1452 Female
Cap around the pipe thread end of the #1922-2
hose. Loop the open end of the other #1452 Fe-
male Cap around the pipe thread end of the #1923-
2 hose.
STEP 24. Wrap two layers of “Teflon tape” or
“paste” over the threads of the pipe thread end of
the 1922-2 and 1923-2 hoses.
STEP 25. Install a #2574 Male Fitting onto the
pipe thread end of the #1922-2 hose. Install a
#2574 Male fitting onto the pipe thread end of the
#1923-2 hose... tighten.

The #1922-2 Bottom

Cylinder Tube Hose.
Note: If you prefer to
make the quick discon-
nects simpler, install a
#2574 male fitting and
#2573 female fitting on
each cylinder hose and
the hoses coming out
by the engine.
