Thank you for purchasing the Stromberg Carlson Starter Ladder.
When used properly, this product will provide many years of
trouble free service. This kit contains components and hardware
for one complete ladder extension. This ladder is to be mounted
to your RV’s exterior ladder when parked, to aid in climbing
your RV’s exterior ladder.
WARNING:

Both ladder feet must be firmly on the ground when
in use.
n
Cage pins must be securely attached around RV ladder
prior to use.
n
Do not exceed an 10° - 13° angle when using this
extension ladder.
n
Do not jump on this ladder extension.
n
Weight restriction of 250 lb.
n
Do not leave this attached to your ladder when
traveling.
n
Never use without the locking cage pins securely in
place and be sure swivel top is tight and can not rotate.
n
Periodically inspect ladder for damage and if
damaged, do not use.
n
Do not use while motor home is running. Exhaust
fumes can be a FIRE HAZARD.
n
Stromberg Carlson is not responsible for any damage
if warnings are not heeded.
Do not use unless the cage
pins are secured (Figure 1).
Both ladder feet must always

Installing this ladder at an
10° - 13° angle is recommended
(Figure 6). Never use in a
vertical position. Failure to
follow these instructions
could result in injury.
