Special safety guidelines

There is a risk of accidents if the general safety guidelines are not observed.

The brake is delivered in assembled condition. The fixing screws (12) and the discs (14) are enclosed separate-
ly in the delivery.
The delivery state may deviate as an exception from the rule.
NOTE
The brake is delivered without any corrosion protection. The user is responsible for applying suitable
corrosion protection.
6.3
Conditions for assembly and fixing
The following conditions for assembly and fixing must be observed:
• Obtain the binding dimensions from the dimensional drawing, see section 4.3.
• Observe the technical specifications, see section 4.
• Ensure the utmost cleanliness during assembly.
6.3.1
Special tools
No special tools are required for assembly or disassembly of the complete brake.
6.3.2
Assembly precision
The concentric run, as well as coaxiality and axial run-out, of the adjacent components must comply with toler-
ance class "N" from DIN 42955, see section 2.5, or they must be explicitly obtained from the dimensional draw-
ing, see section 4.3.
