Cam disc
A
Effective cam angle

Adjustment worm
B
Usable cam disc angle
Each contact has a cam disc assigned to it that is continuously adjustable. The cam discs (1) can be adjusted
with the adjustment worm (2) independently of one other. This adjustment can be carried out without first
loosening the parts. The adjustment worm is located in the self-locking device. The adjustment of the adjustment
worm can be carried out with 10 mm screwdrivers or 4 mm Allen keys.
Gear ratio, see section 4.1.2 and section 4.1.3.
•
By rotating the adjustment worm to the right, the rotation of the cam disc is equally to the right (view from the
B-side of the GCLS).
The cam discs are designed so that a maximum nominal travel and overtravel are available. Cam discs with other
nominal travels can be ordered as special cam discs and mounted in the factory.
No damage is caused to the GCLS when the overtravel is exceeded. However, the contact may open or close
again.
