The loop of the needle thread taken up by the hook must be able to be pulled
easily and without impairment over the reel capsule.
Setting the reel capsule venting (Fig. 2)
The reel capsule venting must start when the loop has left the uppermost point
of the reel capsule and have vented these, when the loop is pulled between the
reel capsule and the hook bridge nose.
By releasing the cheese-head screw (16) in the stop lever (17), the hook stop
(13) which vents the reel capsule can be adjusted by turning.

The upper side presser fixes the sewing material during the penetration phase
at the side stitch plate web (fabric support surface).

3.5.1 Adjusting the side presser (Fig. 2)

Disconnect machine from the mains!
The upper side presser (9) should open 4.5 mm during transport.
Please pay attention to this measurement (4.5 mm), otherwise the Bowden
cable get damaged.
When the strap (6) for the plunger contacts the stitch plate, the upper side
presser (9) is in contact with the fabric support surface at the stitch plate.
