CHARGING THE TWO 18650 BATTERIES
WARNING:
Never attempt to charge standard (non-rechargeable) batteries. Doing so could result in injury and will void
the warranty.
NOTE: when charging the batteries the first time you will need to remove the clear plastic wrap if this is
present.
This unit operates on two rechargeable 18650 Li-Ion batteries (
included
) and we recommend fully charging them first.
To do so, remove the rubber battery compartment cover and insert the batteries following the polarity diagram shown on
the inside of the battery compartment. Replace the cover and plug one end of the charging cord into the charging port
located on the bottom right side of the battery charging compartment and plug the other end into a standard wall outlet.
IMPORTANT: When plugging the cord into the charging port, the metal end only inserts about half
way as shown in the picture to the right. Do not try to force the plug in completely as this will damage
the unit and void the warranty. Do not charge for longer than 4 hours or continue to charge once the
light on the charger turns green. When the light on the charger changes from red to green, the battery
is fully charged and should be removed from the charger.
