TeraTerm Commands
TeraTerm is an easy way to check and troubleshoot the hardware of a machine. Here are a
couple of helpful commands which can be used to operate the machine through TeraTerm.
All values, which are displayed in TeraTerm, are in inches. For some commands, the
machine must find Home position before you can enter commands.

This command enables the printer information to be displayed in the TeraTerm window.

Find Home.
This command determines the XY axis home position. It locates the X and Y axis limit
switches, sets the origin, and places the head over the purge bucket.
Used for testing X/Y limit sensors. During boot-up process; a bad sensor could leave the
machine stuck in initializing,

will help find the right sensor.

Setting Gantry Type:
During the home sequence, the machine is also looking at which table is installed in the
machine (cable drive or Belt drive). GR5K means, the Gear Ratio is 5000 microsteps/inch.
Actual Travel Limits:
This is the distance between the BOT (Begin Of Travel) and EOT (End Of Travel) Sensors in
inches.
Set origin to:
This gives an offset to the BOT sensors so the machine is not moving into the sensors during a
build.
