5.6 Draining the Tank
5.6.1
Draining Water
To drain water from the tank:
1. Disconnect the power cord.
2. Make sure that the drainage hose is properly connected and that it is directed
into a sink or sufficiently large bucket.
3. Open the drainage valve.

4. When the tank is empty, close the drainage valve.

Draining Alkaline Cleaning Solution
Before handling the alkaline solution, read "Alkaline Cleaning Solution Safety
Instructions" on page 6.
To drain alkaline solution from the tank:
1. Disconnect the power cord.
2. Make sure that the drainage hose is properly connected and that it is directed
into a container.
Do
not
direct the drainage hose into a sink.
3. Open the drainage valve.
4. Dispose of the waste according to local regulations.
