Configuration Overview
You set the cleaning cartridge warning count from the Cleaning Info
menu.
To set this value:
1. From the status screen, press the
MENU
button. The Main Menu will appear.
2. Press the arrow button until the cursor underscores
CLEANING INFO
.
3. Press the
SELECT
button. The Cleaning Info menu will appear. This menu
displays the number of cleaning cartridges in the reserved area.
4. Using an arrow button, line up the cursor with the appropriate drive’s
WARNING COUNT
.
5. Press the
SELECT
button for your choice. An editing screen will appear.
6. The editing screen displays the current setting for the cartridge warning
count. It displays the maximum recommended warning count below the
current setting. On this screen, use the up and down arrow buttons to
change the count value.
7. When the value is correct, press the SELECT button to save the changes.
Press the
MENU
button to abort.
8. When you are finished, press the
MENU
button twice to return to the library
status screen.
L-Series Library Admin Entries
The L-Series Library Admin is an optional Web-based interface to the library.
Before you can use the interface to monitor the library or alter the library’s
configuration, you must enter two values at the operator panel:
• The library’s IP address
• The library’s Web password
For instructions on how to make these entries, see the documentation included
in the monitor shipping package. For instructions on using the interface to alter
the library’s configuration or monitor library activity, access the online help files
for the monitor.
Configuration Verification
When you have completed all configuration entries, the operator panel will
notify you if you made a change that requires you to press the
RESET
button.
When the library becomes ready, go through the configuration screens to verify
that all information is complete.
