Library-to-LVD SCSI Client

Library LVD SCSI operation is directed through the MPW card, which is
connected to the MPV card. The MPW card slides into the lower slot of the
compact peripheral component interconnect (CPCI) assembly, which contains
the MPV card. The MPV card, which operates as the CPCI backplane for the
LVD SCSI interface, attaches to the MPC at J211.

Library-to-Drives

The connection between the library MPC card and drives is a four-pin, RS422
interface. The connector for the drives is contained within the quick-disconnect
connector for the drive tray. The cable for these lines runs from the drive
connector to the MPC card at P/J24.
