JBOD Connections
Back Panel Connections of the 36-bay JBOD
Connect the JBOD to the DR365V appliance using SAS Extension ports and then connect power
supplies.
Note:
The JBOD has to be turned-on
BEFORE
the DR365V appliance.
Power-On Procedure
Be sure to adhere to the following instructions when turning on the DR365V:
Verify that all the SAS, network, and power cables are properly connected.
Power-on the JBOD(s).
Wait for the drives on the JBOD(s) to finish initialization
–
this may take 10 to 20
minutes depending on the number of drives.
Power-on the DR365V appliance.
