NOTE
The accelerator pedal is attached to the bot-
tom plate and is removed with this also. The
connecting plug for the accelerator is located
underneath the bottom plate.
–
Open the bonnet.
–
Remove the rubber mat.
–
Grasp the recess (3) in the bottom plate (2).
–
Raise the bottom plate slightly.
–
Pull out the bottom plate under the brake
pedal and set it down upright.
–
Disconnect the plug connector (1) on the
accelerator pedal.
–
Lift bottom plate and place in a safe loca-
tion.
Installing the bottom plate
WARNING
Risk of crushing between bottom plate and frame
edge!
If limbs or objects are between the bottom plate and
frame edge when the bottom plate is closed, they
can be crushed.
–
When closing the bottom plate, ensure that there
is nothing between the bottom plate and the edge
of the chassis.
CAUTION
Placing the bottom plate on top of the rubber edging
strip can cause damage to the rubber edging strip.
–
Do not place the bottom plate on top of the rubber
edging strip.
