Safety regulations for handling consumables
Permissible consumables
DANGER
Failure to observe the safety regulations relating to
consumables may result in a risk of injury, death or
damage to the environment.
– Observe the safety regulations when handling
such materials.
Refer to the maintenance data table for the
permissible substances that are necessary for
operation (see ⇒ Chapter "Maintenance data
Oils
DANGER
Oils are flammable!
– Follow the statutory regulations.
– Do not allow oils to come into
contact with hot engine parts.
– No smoking, fires or naked flames!
DANGER
Oils are toxic!
– Avoid contact and consumption.
– If vapour or fumes are inhaled,
move to fresh air immediately.
– In the event of contact with the
eyes, rinse thoroughly (for at least
10 minutes) with water and then
consult an eye specialist.
– If swallowed, do not induce
vomiting. Seek immediate medical
attention.
