Battery weight and dimensions

Risk of tipping due to change in battery weight!
The battery weight and dimensions affect the stability
of the truck. When replacing the battery, the weight
ratios must not be changed. The battery weight must
remain within the weight range specified on the
nameplate.

Do not remove or change the position of
ballast weights.

General safety regulations for lithium-
ion batteries
The following safety regulations generally ap-
ply to operating lithium-ion batteries.

Comply with the specifications stated in the
safety data sheets of the battery manufac-
turer.

Protect the battery against mechanical
damage to prevent internal short circuits.

If batteries have even the slightest external
damage, dispose of them in accordance
with national regulations for the country in
which they are being used.

Do not expose batteries directly to continu-
ously high temperatures or heat sources,
such as direct sunlight.
–
Train employees in how to handle lithium-
ion batteries correctly.
