Adjusting the steering column
DANGER
Increased risk of accident from sudden adjustment
of the steering column!
Adjustment while driving can lead to uncontrolled
movements of the truck.
– Never make adjustments while driving.
– Always adjust the steering column so that all
operating devices can be actuated safely.
– Ensure that the adjusted steering column is
engaged.
NOTE
Adjustments must only be made while the seat
is occupied.
– Loosen the adjustment lever (1) for the
steering column.
– Position the steering wheel.
– Secure the adjustment lever.
– Ensure that the steering wheel is securely
engaged.
