Operation

Braking

Service brake

To brake the vehicle, operate the footbrake

(1) with the right foot. The pedal movement

distance determines the braking deceleration.

Just releasing the accelerator (2) triggers

Generator braking. The braking deceleration

is determined by preset parameters. The

braking distance of the vehicle is inﬂuenced

by the quality of the ﬂoor surface. The driver

needs to take this into account when driving

and braking.

Parking brake

The parking brake, which can be activated

and deactivated via the switch (3) also holds

the vehicle securely braked on slopes (max.

permissible inclination values see “Technical

Data“). The appropriate indication appears

in the display(4). It is also possible to start up

on slopes without rolling back by means of the

“roller monitoring”.

Automatic parking brake

If the vehicle does not move for a few seconds,

the parking brake engages automatically.
The parking brake engages even if the Emer-

gency Stop or the key-operated switch is

turned off.
