Replacing and transporting the battery

Only use lithium-ion batteries that have been
approved by STILL for use with this truck.
Also refer to the chapter entitled "Approved
lithium-ion batteries".
– If you have any questions regarding the
batteries approved for this type of truck,
contact your authorised service centre.
After installation of the battery
If the battery installed is a lithium-ion battery,
no settings need to be adjusted using the dis-
play-operating unit. The truck automatically
detects the new lithium-ion battery.
If the battery installed is a lead-acid battery,
the battery capacity and the battery type must
be checked via the display-operating unit.
Also refer to the chapter entitled "Entering
truck operating data via the display-operating
unit". If the settings are incorrect, then the
battery charge is not displayed correctly. In
the worst case, the battery may be damaged
by a deep discharge.

CAUTION
Risk of components being damaged by the lifting
accessory and battery rolling away!
The lifting accessory and battery may roll away in an
uncontrolled manner if the battery is not removed
on a level, smooth floor with sufficient load capacity.
– Follow the operating instructions for the lifting
accessory used.
– Always remove the battery on a level, smooth
floor with sufficient load capacity.
