
Checking the condition of cables,
terminals and battery connector
–
Check that the cable insulation is undam-
aged and that there are no signs of over-
heating at the connections.
–
Check that the "+" and "-" output terminals
are not sulfated (presence of white salt).
–
Check the condition of the power outlet con-
tacts and the presence of the keying pin.
–
Check the condition of the locking tab on
the battery connector.
CAUTION
The points mentioned above can cause serious inci-
dents. In the event of a fault, please contact the Af-
ter-Sales Service.
Servicing the pump motor
Checking the electrical connections
–
Check the mounting, condition and insula-
tion of the pump motor cables (1).
–
Eliminate any traces of oxidation.
–
Replace faulty cables.
NOTE
Oxidised connections and faulty cables will re-
sult in a drop in voltage, leading to malfunc-
tions.
Service the on-board charger
It is necessary to check the on-board charger.
Proceed as follows:
–
Connect the cord to the 220 V mains.
