Maintenance

Maintenance as required

Opening the battery cover

– Stop the truck and lower the forks.
– Turn off the ignition and remove the key.
– Press the emergency off switch.
– Lift the cover (4) in the direction of the forks

until it reaches its upper stop (X).

To close, return the cover to the(4)horizontal

position using its handle.

CAUTION

The cover is rather heavy and must be handled with

care. The wearing of gloves is recommended.

CAUTION

Keep ﬁngers away from moving parts to avoid any

risk of them being trapped.

NOTE

It is possible to remove the cover (5) after

opening it fully. Release it vertically for easy

access to the battery components.

NOTE

A hook (6) makes it possible to hang the cover

on the edge of the battery compartment.
