Annual maintenance

Insulation resistance check (earth-

ing)

The insulation of industrial trucks should have

sufficient insulation resistance. Test the truck

and battery separately.

Testing the insulation resistance of the

electrical system

Have the insulation resistance of all active

electrical components checked in accordance

with DIN 57117 and DIN 43539, VDE 0117

and VDE 0520.
Measuring voltage > rated voltage < 500 V.

The insulation resistance of all live parts of

the truck is sufficient provided it amounts to

at least 1000 ohms per volt of rated voltage

against body.
