► Hold the carrying ring (1) against the drive
tube (2) and then press it into position.
► Fit the nut (4).
► Insert and tighten down the screw (3) firmly.
The carrying ring need not be removed again.

Mounting the Bike Handle
► Shut off the engine.

► Take out the screws (1).
► Place the clamping piece (4) together with the
lower clamping shell (6) at a distance of a = 35
cm from the shaft (5).
► Place the handlebar (3) in the clamping
piece (4).
While doing so, do not clamp the curved part
of the handlebar (3).
► Fit the upper clamping shell (2) so that the
holes are in alignment.
► Insert the screws (1).
► Swing the handlebar (3) up and line it up with
the cutting attachment.
► Tighten the screws (1) securely.

► Position the control handle (7) and throttle
cable (11) over and along the shaft (5) – do
not twist the control handle (7).
► Remove the screw (9).
► Position the control handle (7) on the handle‐
bar (3) so that the hole of the control han‐
dle (7) is flush with the handlebar (3) and the
throttle trigger (8) is facing the gear housing.
► Fit the nut (10).
► Insert and tighten the screw (9) securely.
► Position the throttle cable retainer (12) and the
throttle cable (11) on the shaft.
The throttle cable (11) must not be kinked or
too tightly constricted – make sure the throttle
trigger moves freely.
► Squeeze the throttle cable retainer (12).
The throttle cable retainer (12) engages in
position with an audible click.
It is not necessary to remove the bike handle
again.

Mounting the guard
► Shut off the engine.

► Push the deflector (1) into the guides on the
gear housing up to the limit stop.
► Insert the screws (2) and tighten them firmly.

► Take out screws.
► Remove guard.
