djust the operating height of the
auger:
The auger group has 3 positions:
•
Lifted:
to use with deep snow or for trasporting
the snow thrower:
unlock
lock
1. Move the lever to the unlock position.
2. Hold the handlebar with both hands
and push down
.
3. Move the lever to the lock position
.
To return the auger on the ground position:
temporary
unlock
1. Keep one hand on the handle
2. With the other hand bring the lever to
the unlock position, accompanying
the machine to the ground
3. Return the lever to the locked position

On ground:
to use in normal working
conditions
•
Floating:
to use in uneven ground conditions
unlock
Move the lever to the unlock position.
To return the auger on the ground position:
lock
Return the lever to the locked position.
When not in use, the auger group
must be completely on the ground
.
7. USING THE MACHINE

7.1 PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS
Before using the machine :
•
Check the fuel and the oil level. For the
methods and precautions regarding
refuelling and oil top up (see par. 8.2 and
par. 8.3).
•
adjust the height of the shoes to adjust the
machine to the ground conditions (see par.
5.1).
•
check the wheel pressure (on model ST 266
HW)
