Returning the dock leveller to the parked position
When loading or unloading is completed, return the dock leveller to the parked
(standby) position. In parked position the deck is at dock level.
1. Press [deck up] until the lip has cleared the loading floor of the truck and the deck
is at least 100 mm higher than dock level.
n
Note
The deck needs to be 100 mm higher than the dock level in order for the cross traffic
legs to get into position.
2. Release [deck up].
The leveller will descend to the parked position with the lip in vertical position.
d
Warning
If the deck does not return to the parked position (flush with dock platform) do not
use the leveller until the problem is solved. See Troubleshooting (on page 38) for
more information.
d
Warning
Make sure the dock leveller is in the parked position before the truck drives off.
This prevents a dangerous situation if persons, fork lifts or other objects are on or
near the dock leveller.
5.4.3
Loading and unloading below dock level with BDC (optional)
When the loading floor of the truck is lower than the level of the dock platform, and
is (or has to be) loaded to the end with cargo, there is no room for the lip to rest on
the loading floor of the truck.
