Dock Leveller ED
Only start the machine if no padlock or tag-out sign is attached.
5.2.1.2 Restarting after emergency stop or power loss
To start after an emergency stop or a power loss:
1. Check that it is safe to restart the Dock Leveller.
2. Check that there is no danger for people or cargo.
3. Switch on the main power supply by switching the main switch to "1".
4. Briefly push [deck up] to activate the control current.
5.2.2 Switching off
5.2.2.1 Switching off in a normal situation
To switch off the Dock Leveller.
1. Bring the Dock Leveller to the parked position. See Returning the
Dock Leveller to the parked position on page 29.
2. Turn the main switch from the "1" position to the "0" position.
5.2.2.2 Switching off in an emergency situation
To switch off the Dock Leveller.
1. In case of an emergency or a dangerous situation immediately switch the
main switch to "0".
Do not switch the main switch to "0" during normal operation of the
Dock Leveller. The Dock Leveller can no longer follow the vertical movements
of the truck. This could lead to dangerous situations or damage to the
equipment.
Only switch to "0" in case of an emergency or a dangerous situation.
