Operating the pallet lifting mechanism
1.
Set the lever to position (3) and make a pumping movement with the drawbar, to
raise the column lift with the pallet lifting mechanism. The column lift can then be
relocated.
2.
Pull the lever to position (1) to lower the column lift to the floor.
3.
Set the pallet lifting mechanism in the lowest position, and the lever to the neutral
position (2), whenever the column lift is to be used to hoist a vehicle.

Operating procedure
Before using the column lift, make certain that:
• the floor where the column lifts are set up is capable of supporting the setup and
the vehicle,
• the installation has taken account of the need for an escape route at least 24"
wide on all sides of the setup,
• the maximum load on each column will not exceed 16,500 lbs,
• the lifting system is perfectly vertical, when viewed both from the front and the
side,
