CAUTION

Tilting of the traverse beam is a potential hazardous situation.

Whether this situation will occur depends on the specific design of the trailer, to

prevent this dangerous situation:

1.

Always connect the (brake) air pressure to the trailer from an external source.

2.

Make sure the brakes are released, to allow rotation of the wheels while lifting and

lowering.

7.3

Adaptors with G-suspension

Some vehicles cannot be lifted by picking it up by its wheels, for instance train

wagons. Stertil has developed special adaptors which are fitted by a pin on a special

guide piece. This system is assembled in the Stertil factory and is not meant as user

removable equipment.

NOTE

The vehicle has designated points where the pad of the adaptor should be

positioned.
