12.2 Troubleshooting Equipment Behavior
This section describes equipment issues that may occur without showing an error
code on the display.
12.2.1 General Equipment Issues
Issues below relate to general equipment usage. For issues related to wash cycle
operations and wash performance see
Wash Cycle Issues on page 152.
12.2.1.1 Sonic irrigator does not power-up.

Make sure that the main disconnect switch is in the ON position and that
electrical power is supplied to the equipment.
l
Facility power may be incorrect for the equipment. If facility power is incorrect
for the equipment, the internal circuit breaker may have tripped. Contact
supplier.
12.2.1.2
Draining

Make sure that the Emergency Stop button
is not pushed in. Pull Emergency Stop to
reset and allow equipment to drain.
l
Turn equipment off and then on at power
isolator. Wait for sonic irrigator to perform a
reset then try again.
12.2.1.3 Carrier does not move.
l
Make sure that the carrier safety edge has not been activated. See The Carrier
Safety Edge on page 46.
l
Make sure that the carrier light guard is not interrupted. See The Carrier Light
Guard on page 44.
l
Make sure that no object is fouling the LOAD foot pedal, and that the foot pedal
is free to operate.
