Connecting a Device to the RS232 Port
The following devices can be connected to the external RS232 port:
• Thermal printer
• Data logging PC
IMPORTANT
Only IEC/EN 60950-1 certified equipment should be connected to the RS232
port.

Connecting a Thermal Printer to the RS232 Port
1.
Connect an RS232 data cable to the port
marked
PRINTER
on the rear of the sonic
irrigator.
2.
Connect the RS232 data cable to the thermal
printer.
3.
Connect the thermal printer to a suitable mains
power outlet.
4.
Load paper into the thermal printer according to
the accompanying instructions.
5.
Run a test wash cycle to make sure that the
wash cycle log is printing correctly.
