1. No green light on Main Power
Switch (if equipped with backlight).
• Main Power Switch is
OFF

• Power cord not plugged
into facility power.

• Turn Main Power Switch to
ON

power supply.
• Replace power cord.

2. No response from Hand Control or
Hand Control turns on momentarily
and then shuts off (may repeat two-
three times until there is no response;
power cord not plugged into facility
power).
• Battery fuse F8 open.
• Insufficient battery
charge.
• Defective Hand Control.
• Defective Hand Control
cable.
• Defective connector
plate/harness.
• Replace battery fuse F8.
• Connect power cord to appropriate
facility power and turn Main Power
Switch to ON. Allow batteries to charge
12 hours to restore full charge.
• Check operation using Backup Hand
Control (replace Main Control/cable).
• Check operation with Backup Hand
Control (replace hand connector plate/
harness).
3. No response from Hand Control
(power cord plugged into facility
power).
• Defective Primary Hand
Control/cable.
• Defective connector
plate/harness.
• Check operation using Backup Hand
Control (replace Main Control/cable).
• Check operation with Backup Hand
Control (replace hand control connector
plate/harness).
4. Cannot read Hand Control display
(power cord plugged into facility
power).
• Master Control Assembly
is malfunctioning from
defective Hand Control.
• Replace Hand Control and Master
Control Assembly.
5. When Hand Control is ON,
INTELLIPOWER Display bar graph
is OFF and Main Power Switch (if
equipped with backlight and power
cord is plugged into facility power) is
ON (green); or, INTELLIPOWER
Display bar graph and Battery Status
Indicator are ON while ac Power Plug
is OFF.
• Battery charger fuse F1
open.
• Faulty batteries.
• Faulty power supply.
• Replace battery charger fuse F1.
• Replace batteries.
• Replace power supply.
