3.14.4 Alkaline Wash Tank Heating Alarm
If after 10 minutes (default value adjustable in service
mode only), alkaline wash tank water temperature is
not reached, control gives an alarm.
3.15 ACID WASH TANK MONITOR
3.15.1 Acid Wash Tank Filling
If acid tank high water level switch (1 in 10) indicates
that acid wash tank is not full, control energizes acid
tank fill valve (5 out 4) for 5 minutes (default value
adjustable in service mode only) or until acid wash
tank is full. Once acid tank high water level switch
detects water (1 in 10) for 3 consecutive seconds, con-
trol de-energizes acid tank fill valve (5 out 4).
3.15.2 Acid Wash Tank Filling Alarm
If after 5 minutes (default value adjustable in service
mode only), acid tank high water level switch does not
detect water (1 in 10), control gives an alarm.
3.15.3 Acid Wash Tank Heating
Once acid wash tank is full, control energizes acid tank
steam valve (5 out 6) to start heating acid wash tank
water up to 140.0

F [60.0
°
C] (default value adjustable
in service mode only) for 10 minutes (default value
adjustable in service mode only). Once temperature set
point is reached, control de-energizes acid tank steam
valve (5 out 6).
3.15.4 Acid Wash Tank Heating Alarm
If after 10 minutes (default value adjustable in service
mode only), acid wash tank water temperature is not
reached, control gives an alarm.
3.16 MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
3.16.1 Bypass Button
A BYPASS button is present on Cycle Status display.
A cycle phase may be bypassed only if Temperature
Guaranteed is not selected. Recirculation, soaking and
exhaust phases can be bypassed. A message is printed
when a phase is bypassed.
3.16.2 Extend Button
An EXTEND button is present on Cycle Status display.
Pressing EXTEND button adds time to remaining
phase time. E.g. if 1 minute remains from a 5 minute
recirculation and the EXTEND button is pressed, the
recirculation timer is extended to 6 minutes.
Recirculation, soaking and exhaust phases can be
extended. A message is printed when a phase is
extended.
3.17 MANUAL MODE DESCRIPTION
User or service technician can manually control certain
washer functions by accessing Manual Control mode.
Manual Control mode is accessible from Operating
mode when washer is not in cycle. By pressing
MAN-
UAL MENU button, the following sequences are avail-
able in this mode:
3.17.1 Fill
By selecting FILL, filling port valve is activated and
sump fills. Display shows FILLING SUMP. Once sump
level reached, display shows SUMP FULL. If a door is
opened or FILL button is pressed again, sequence is
aborted. Filling valve closes automatically when sump
is full.
3.17.2 Pump/DRV
By selecting PUMP/DRV the following sequence
occurs: sump is filled; then, recirculation pump, jet
valve and header system are activated. Display shows
PUMPING/DRIVING.
If a door is opened or PUMP/DRV button is pressed
again, the sequence is aborted.
3.17.3 Drive
By selecting DRIVE header system is activated. Dis-
play shows DRIVING. If DRIVE button is pressed
again, sequence is aborted.
3.17.4 Drain
By selecting Drain, you can drain the following:
Sump
Acid Tank (appears only if option selected)
Alkaline Tank (appears only if option selected)
Cooldown (appears only if option selected)
• Sump
Sump is filled to ensure pump does not run
dry. Recirculation pump is activated and drain
valve opens. Display shows DRAINING
SUMP.
Once drain time has elapsed, display shows
SUMP EMPTY. If a door is opened or SUMP
button is pressed again, sequence is aborted.
If cooldown tank is present, this one is drained
using manual cooldown tank draining
sequence.
