additional time is required to depressurize generator, because
steam cannot exhaust through the door seal. If “Too Long to
Depressurize Generator” alarm occurs, increase the factory
default setting for too long to depressurize.

• Cold water utilities run during the depressurize phase. Minimize
utilities usage by closing the operating end door.
2. Drain – Automated drain ball valve opens, allowing hot water
and steam to flow from generator to drain. Cooling water flows
continuously to the generator drain to maintain an average of
140°F (60°C) or less. The generator drain valve must open within
one minute or an alarm occurs. A 10-second timer appears on
the status bar when conditions for Drain phase have been met.
3. Flush – Hot water flows through boiler chamber for 5, 10 or 15
minutes as selected by user. Cooling water is controlled by
temperature probe to maintain an average generator drain
temperature of 140°F (60°C) or less.
