read this instruction manual to prevent any damage. Put it away in 
a safe place for future references.

IMPORTANT

Clean only with a soft, dry cloth.
Do not try to open the equipment, may cause malfunction and 

       warranty repeal.

Do not use or store the equipment near wet places.
To minimize the chance of feedback (a loud howling or squealing 
noise), position the microphone beside or behind loudspeakers.

PLUGGING THE MICROPHONE

To begin the use of the microphone, insert the cable with Cannon 
connector into the microphone, the other extreme, plug it into the 
desired source.

PROXIMITY EFFECT

When the sound source is less than 6mm from the microphone, the 
microphone boosts bass frequencies (by 6 to 10dB at 100Hz), creating 
a warmer and richer bass sound that when farther away. This effect, 
known as proximity effect, happens only in unidirectional dynamic 
microphones.

APPLICATIONS AND PLACEMENT

This equipment is ideal for close-up vocals and can be held in the hand. 
Some of the most common applications and placement techniques are 
listed in the following table.

GENERAL RULES FOR MICROPHONE USE

1.- Aim the microphone toward the desired sound source and away 
from unwanted sources.
2.- Locate the microphone as close as practical to the desired sound 
source.
3.- Work close to the microphone for extra bass response.
4.- Use only one microphone per sound source.
5.- Locate microphones at least three times as far from other 
microphones as from the sound source.
6.- Use as few microphones as practical.
7.- Place microphones far from sound-refl ecting surfaces.
8.- Add a windscreen when using the microphone outdoors, for close-up 
speech, or vocals.

WARRANTY

This Steren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in workmanship and materials to the 
original purchaser for one year from the date of purchase.

CONDITIONS

1.- This warranty card with all the required information, invoice or purchase ticket, product box or package, 
and product, must be presented when  warranty service is required.
2.- If the product stills on the warranty time, the company will repair it free of charge.
3.- The repairing time will not exceed 30 natural days, from the day the claim was received.
4.- Steren sell parts, components, consumables and accesories to costumer, as well as warranty service, at 
any of the addresses mentioned later.

THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IN THE NEXT CASES:

If the product has been damaged by an accident, acts of God, mishandling, leaky batteries, failure to follow 
enclosed instructions, improper repair by unauthorized personnel, improper safe keeping, among others.

a) The consumer can also claim the warranty service in the purchase establishment.
b) If you lose the warranty card, we can reissue it, if you show the invoice or purchase ticket.
