Connecting and Pairing Instructions
The Steamist Bluetooth audio receiver is designed to work with
the Steamist AudioSense™ feature. Connecting the receiver to
either the Audio A or Audio B input of the AudioSense module
allows you to wirelessly stream music to you steambath from
your Bluetooth enabled music player.
1. Connecting the Bluetooth audio receiver to the
AudioSense system
a. Connect the 3.5mm end of the included audio jack to the
output jack of the Bluetooth audio receiver.
b. Connect the other end (3.5mm or 2xRCA) to the Audio A or
B input of the AudioSense Module.
c. Connect the AC power adapter cable to the Bluetooth audio
receiver DC input jack and plug the AC adapter into a wall
power outlet (120 Volt Receptacle).
d. A blue LED will flash once to indicate the unit is powered
and is ready to be paired.
2. Pairing the Bluetooth audio receiver
a. Before pairing the Bluetooth receiver must be connected to
power. Go to the Bluetooth manager of your music player
and make sure Bluetooth is set to ON. You may need to
refer to your music player’s instructions if you have difficulty
connecting. Look for the Bluetooth audio receiver and select
connect. Many players will connect automatically, but if a
pairing pin code is requested enter “0000”.
b. Once paired the blue LED will flash once, it will stay lit when
a connection is established. Some players will connect
immediately after it pairs, others will pair and then ask if you
want to connect. The blue LED will go off after pairing
unless a connection is established.
c. The music receiver has a range of approximately 30 feet. If
you move out of range for more than 15 seconds the
connection will be lost. The connection will automatically
reconnect if it is lost for less than 15 seconds. To reconnect,
simply access the Bluetooth manager on your player and
select connect. It will not be necessary to re-pair.
3. Changing the connected music player
a. Only one device can be connected at a time. If the blue LED
is on steady, the receiver is connected to a player and that
connection must be dropped before another connection can
be established.
b. To end the existing connection one of the following must
happen:
(1) The connected player must be out of range for more than
15 seconds.
(2) Disable Bluetooth in the Bluetooth manager of the
music player.
(3) Momentarily unplug the power to the Bluetooth
receiver.

off and a new connection can be established.
