GUIDELINES TO CONVERSION / WARRANTY
In the past Star Mfg., has stated that these conversions could not be done. We are changing our stance on
this and with that warranty for units vs. parts must be outlined. See the below list for guidelines.
If a new unit that a dealer is selling needs to be converted:

Parts must be purchased by dealer at their standard parts discount.

All items required to be purchased will have the standard 90-day parts warranty time frame. All
required parts by brand / model are indicated on the following pages.

Conversions are not covered under warranty and are Not to be done by ASA. This is a manual
process that will not require a technician.
If an existing unit in the field is being converted because of customer request:

Parts must be purchased via an ASA or via our parts partner Parts Town.
