it is determined that the paper has been
recovered. Under all other conditions, it is
considered that paper has been pulled out.

(3) Paper Recovery Operation
If the sensor 2 and sensor 3 detection signals are ON after a determined amount of time has passed,
the paper recovery operation is performed.

Sensor 2 detects trailing edge of paper and sensor 3 turns OFF.

1 second after sensor 2 turns OFF, DC motor is braked for 200 ms and stopped.
Note:
The distance between sensor 2 and sensor 3 is 7.8 mm. Therefore, the amount of time
required for sensor 2 to turn OFF after sensor 3 turns OFF is 26 ms. It is necessary to
enable detection in that amount of time.
