1468A RS232 Port Module Installation Instructions
Ensure that all necessary parts for the 1468A module are included in the package.
Check items against the following parts list:

I.) Adding 1468A to 1460 or TC1260:
NOTE:
If the 1460/TC1260 is already in use, remove AC power before proceeding with installation of the
module.
CAUTION:
Shock hazard inside Master Time Programmer. Remove all power before servicing.
1.)
Open the door.
2.)
Remove the Keps nut in the upper left corner of the CPU board.
3.)
Place the 5/8" spacer provided on the exposed stud.
4.)
Place the 1468A Board on the spacer and J5 header. Secure the board in place with the nut which was
removed in step 2.
5.)
Connect field wires to RS232 Port as required. See wiring diagrams provided.
6.)
Close the door.
7.)
Connect AC power.
II.) Adding 1468A to 1461:
NOTE:
If the 1461 is already in use, remove AC power before proceeding with installation of the module.
CAUTION:
Shock hazard inside Master Time Programmer. Remove all power before servicing.
1.)
Remove the cover.
2.)
Remove the Keps nut in the upper left corner of the CPU board.
3.)
Place the 5/8" spacer provided on the exposed stud.
4.)
Place the 1468A Board on the spacer and J5 header. Secure the board in place with the nut which was
removed in step 2.
5.)
Connect field wires to RS232 Port as required. See wiring diagrams provided.
6.)
Reattach cover.
7.)
Connect AC power.
