3.2 Printer Model: Hengstler X-56 (Receipt and Audit Printer) before 2016
3.2.1 Loading Paper In The Printer
Automatic Loading With Power On – Pull the printer plunger out and load paper in. When the printer
senses the paper it will pull the paper in and print the hardware settings of the printer. This is a function
of the printer and not the EF+ Module. If you do not see anything printed you have the paper inserted
upside down. See photos below.
Manual Loading With Power Off – Pull the plunger out and load paper in. At the same time rotate the
large blue knob counterclockwise to pull the paper in. See photos below.
Note
– Push plunger in to remove paper.
The plunger has to be pulled all of the way out for normal
operation.
The thermal paper to use should be two inches wide and thermal sensitive on the outside.
