8.3.1. CABLE TYPE SETTING
WR is designed to test power mains and low current cables. After turning on, the type of cable
to be checked is set by default: "Power mains" (Fig.70, item 8). A pair of contacts "1-2" is
connected. All functions of the Switch are blocked.
To change the cable type, click
(Fig.70, item 8).
The button will take the form:
All functions of the Switch will become available.
8.3.2. FREQUENCY RANGE SETTING
Click
(Fig.70, item 7). A list of frequency range is displayed on the screen:
To select a value, click on the corresponding field.
8.3.3. GAIN SETTING
The gain is set by two methods:
1. Click on
(Fig.70, item 9). A list of values is displayed on the screen:
To select a value, click on the corresponding field. The indicator displays the selected value
2. Use the
(decrease value) and
(increase value) buttons.
8.3.4. SPECTRUM ANALYZER
When turn on the WR, the SPECTRUM ANALYZER mode is automatically set (for analyzing
signals in the selected frequency range). Signals detected during the last scan cycle are displayed
in green. Claret color displays the maximum signal levels detected over the entire duration of the
SPECTRUM ANALYZER.

The scanning step is set by two methods:
