NTERFACE
In order to get interface measure, LIGHTER SG should be set to its correct value (for density and
level measures it is set to 0) and it must be lower than heavier density at least of 0.1 Kg/l.
The difference of density must follow the following formula:

≈ 0.1 ÷ 1.42 Kg/l
The PV will be the measure of the position of the interface on the displacer expressed in
physical units: show the level detected by the displacer (mm, cm, m or inches).
It is measured from the position of the
interface level between two immiscible
fluids referred to the mounted displacer.
To measure the interface position between
two immiscible fluids, it is necessary to set
the density of lighter liquid in LIGHTER SG
and the heaviest fluid density in HEAVIER
SG.
PV is the liquid level measurement reached
by the liquid on the displacer, expressed as
a percentage (%) of the displacer’s length:
this value is represented also in the
currently selected engineering unit measure
(mm, cm, m or inches).

!
To have this measurement available the displacer MUST BE completely immersed in
the process fluid.
