__9. There are two types of handrails, a left and right. Ensure
that the sleeve for the left handrail and sleeve for the right are
pointed at each other so you can install the gates properly as
shown by the arrows to the left
__10. Attach the Handrails (2 & 19) to the Deck Sections (1)
using 1 1/4” bolts, one 3/8 washer (Detail f shows a nut under
the deck, however this unit has factory installed nuts). It is easier
to attach and leave loose until after you have attached the upper
handrail.
__11. Once all four handrails have been positioned, attach the
Upper Handrail (22) to the four handrails using two T-clamps at
each location and securing in position by inserting a 5/16” x 1
1/2” Button Head bolt through a 5/16” flat washer a T-clamp the
handrail, another T-clamp and into a %/16” x 1” button head not.
When the T-clamp is in position on the main handrail, tighten
bolts. Repeat at all four main handrail and upper handrail
connection points.

Governor Tension Adjustment : Back off the jamb nut
on the governor assembly (attached to post assembly) and turn
the adjustment nut until the rubber wheel is pushing firmly onto
the sleeve of the hub assembly. Once wheel is firmly against the
hub, tighten the jamb nut to secure it into position. (See Detail B)
