this is on the front and on the
right side of every coffee delivery group on the machine.
Boiler On Switch (M):
this is on the front left side of the machine and to the right of the cup
warmer switch (
N
). Pressing it will start the boiler group for steam and hot water production. The
boiler group has a Green Water Level Light
(O)
at the top of the boiler on switch (M); if this is on
then the water level in the tank is sufficient; if it is switched on, then it is necessary to fill the tank.
Cup warmer switch (N):
this is on the front left side of the machine. Pressing it will start the cup
warmer.
HOT TO SET THE COFFEE VOLUME (volumetric dosing)
You can set up to 2 different coffee volumes for each coffee group.
To program the machine, proceed as follows:
Insert the capsule in the bottom capsule holder and lower the lever to close (
S
).
Hold down the Continuous and/or Flow Setting (
V
) keys. After about 5 seconds, the three
green lights alongside the V - Z – X switches light up. This means that the machine is in set
up mode.
Press coffee button (espresso or long) that you want to set up and start brewing.
Press the coffee button again (espresso or long) to stop and set the required amount.
The volume delivered at the end of this phase will be stored for the next brewing.
To program a new volume, use a new capsule and repeat the above steps.
The machine can be programmed with two different volumes of coffee for each brewing coffee
group.
WARNING: when there is no water in the tank, the safety system is activated and the
electronic metering goes into the alarm mode. To re-set, switch off the machine, add water
and switch it on again.
COFFEE GROUP START UP
Before the first brewing or after 5 days of disuse of the machine, it is recommended to wash the
inside of the coffee groups and water tanks. Proceed as follows:
Connect the machine to the power supply
(version with inner tank)
.
Before plugging the machine into the mains socket, make sure that it has been connected to
the water mains and that there is sufficient water pressure
(version with direct connection to
the water piping system).
Insert the water tank filled with water in their slot.
Sure that there is no obstruction or folding to stop water running through the pipes.
